Hall and Oates, Concord Pavilion Sep 18 2016

Daryl Hall & John Oates, better known as Hall and Oates, came through Concord Ca. this weekend.  The duo achieved their highest acclaim during the 70’s and 80’s, with hit after hit, selling over 40 million records, and are still considered the third top selling duo of all time.

Best known for their top tracks, which all landed on the Billboard Hot 100: "Rich Girl", "Kiss on My List", "Private Eyes", "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)", "Maneater", and "Out of Touch", Hall and Oates have been an ongoing piece of American Pop Music for now over four decades.

In 2003, Hall and Oates were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, in 2014, they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and most recently in 2016, they were honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Given this dynamic songwriting and performing duo’s pedigree, years of relevant songs and the fact that they are still played on mainstream radio, this night at the Pavilion was quickly sold out and brought varying guests of all ages.

They played many of the hits that we all were hoping for, including Maneater, Out of Touch, Rich Girl and I Can’t Go For That and surprised us with You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' (The Righteous Brothers cover).

Maneater, Out of Touch, Did It in a Minute, Say It Isn't So, You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin' (The Righteous Brothers cover), Las Vegas Turnaround (The Stewardess Song), She's Gone, Sara Smile, Do What You Want, Be What You Are, I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)
